Earlier this evening, newly engaged rapper Kendrick Lamar accepted the 2015 BET Award For Best Male Hip Hop Artists, thanks to his latest chart-topping release To Pimp A Butterfly.

Prior to his award, Kendrick opened the show with “Alright” from his latest album. And it was one for the books as his fiance watched on from the audience. Check it below:

Singers Janelle Monae and Jidenna hit the stage tonight at the 2015 BET AWARDS to perform their hits “Yoga” and “Classic Man.” Watch it inside

Tonight at the 2015 BET Awards, Janelle Monae stretched out a performance of her hit “Yoga.” After several dance breakdowns and some killer choreography, her label mate Jidenna came out on stage with a group of dapper gents for his song “Classic Man.”

Both songs are on Janelle’s upcoming Wondaland compilation, The Eephus, due Aug. 14. The six-track EP also features Wondaland artists Roman GianArthur and Deep Cotton.
