Hazell Stoudemire, the older brother of NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire. According to reports, the accident took place early Monday morning, on Route 27 in Lake Wales, Florida, when he collided with a tractor trailer.
He was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed instantly.
Amar’e Stoudemire, who grew up in Lake Wales, was heading to Florida and will miss Monday’s night game against the Utah Jazz at Madison Square Garden.
