One man has been killed and five other people, including two people who showed up at a North Side police station parking lot after being shot, have been wounded in Chicago shootings since early Monday, according to authorities.
A 23-year-old man was shot to death in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side about 9:20 a.m., police said. The shooting happened in the 400 block of South Laramie Avenue, just north of the Eisenhower Expressway.
He was identified as Terrell D. Robinson, of the 3800 block of West Arthington Street. He was pronounced dead at 9:41 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The man was walking north on Laramie, from Congress, when by two people who stepped out of a black Chevy Impala before shooting him in the head, according to police. The two shooters drove off south in the Chevy and the man was taken to Loretto Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police. The shooting appeared to be related to a drug deal, authorities said.
Most recently, a 46-year-old man was shot in the back in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side early Tuesday, police said.
The man told police he was taking out the trash in the 1700 block of North Talman Avenue when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot about 2:35 a.m., police said. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
Earlier, two people were shot about 10:50 a.m. Monday at California Avenue and Fletcher Street. A man and a woman showed up at the Area North headquarters at Belmont and Western avenues a short time later with injuries, police said in a media notification.
Police thought for a time that only the man was shot, but later said the woman suffered a graze wound. Fire officials also had said she may have suffered a graze wound.
The man, 34, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious-to-critical condition and the woman, 31, was taken to the same hospital, where she was in good condition.
The man was in a vehicle when a man or boy started shooting at him from an alley, hitting the man and the woman, according to police.

- Monday evening, a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side about 7:30 p.m., police said. The man was cutting someone’s hair inside an apartment in the 6400 block of South Maryland Avenue when bullets flew through the sliding glass door, hitting him. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said. Witnesses heard a car speeding away.
- Monday afternoon, a 30-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the face about 1 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Columbus Avenue in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was in serious condition. Information on the circumstances of the shooting were still be investigated, police said. The man was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car in a parking lot when someone walked up to the driver’s side of the car and shot through the closed window, hitting the man in the ride side of the face, police said. The attacker ran to a gray Chevy sedan that had been parked in the same lot and drove off.
